Welcome to Lake Forest!

The Stated Board Meeting will be August 25th @ 6:00 p.m. in the 19th hole
The greens on the Forest golf course have finally grown back and are ready to play. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we made the improvements to the greens. August will be a very exciting time for the golf course, so come out and experience the golf course. In my opinion, the Forest course is in immaculate shape and ready to compete against any golf course in the area.
During the month of August, no instructional clinics will be offered due to the extremely hot temperatures. The Ladies, Men’s, and Junior Clinics will resume September 2nd. Individual lessons will still be offered by Paul Johnson, PGA.

Daphne Utilities Oil Recycling Program
Lake Forest residents are encouraged to participate in the oil recycling program established by Daphne Utilities. Used cooking oil should always be disposed of properly. DO NOT POUR THE COOKING OIL DOWN THE DRAIN. Even if the oil is poured slowly into the drain with hot water, this practice will eventually cause problems with your plumbing and the City’s sewer system as a whole. Once the oil has cooled, it can be poured into a free Daphne Utilities recycling jug (or other container you may have) and dropped off at any of our recycling centers around the City. Used cooking oil is also biodegradable so it can be composted with other food scraps. You can drop off your containers of used cooking oil at the following locations: Daphne Utilities Main Office, Lake Forest Shell Station, Daphne Walmart, Short Stop Service Station, Spanish Fort BP Station, Malbis Shell Station, Lake Forest Apartments, Sunbelt Apartments, East Bay Apartments, Pelican Bay Apartments, Old Trail Baptist Church. For more information about the Daphne Utilities Oil Recycling Program contact Daphne Utilities at 626-2628
